Mobility scooters can help veterans move more independently, reconnect with their communities, and take important steps forward.
Past Initiative | 2025
Bringing emergency care closer when every moment mattered.
In 2025, Hope For Ukraine supported the deployment of fully equipped mobile medical stabilization facilities. Each facility had its own power supply and functioned much like a mobile hospital.
These facilities provided medical teams with an important space to treat wounded service members before further evacuation. They were costly and required significant resources, which meant relatively few organizations could support this work.
It was an important effort that helped save lives. Although this initiative has concluded, it remains part of Hope For Ukraine's history of responding to urgent needs during the war.
Freedom of Movement
Getting back to everyday life matters.
A trip outside, a visit with family, or the ability to move without depending on someone else can mean so much to a veteran adjusting to life after an injury.
Hope For Ukraine works directly with veterans who have been discharged from military service. Some are preparing to receive a prosthesis, others are in the process of receiving one, and some have completed their main rehabilitation program.
We also provide mobility scooters to hospitals and rehabilitation centers for use within those facilities.

Our History of Service
Care has taken many forms throughout the war.
While veteran mobility is a central focus of this program today, Hope For Ukraine has also supported other important efforts to care for people affected by the war.
Mobile Medical Care
In 2025, Hope For Ukraine supported fully equipped mobile medical facilities with independent power supplies. These facilities helped medical teams respond to life-threatening injuries. This initiative has concluded.
Essential First-Aid Supplies
From approximately 2023 through 2025, Hope For Ukraine purchased and supplied essential items for first-aid kits through volunteer groups in Ukraine. These consumable supplies were sent for use by service members and required regular replenishment.
A Gesture of Care
Care Packages and Hospital Visits
For someone recovering in a hospital, even a small act of kindness can make a difficult day feel less lonely.
Hope For Ukraine has prepared care packages containing hygiene products or food, sometimes including sweets, for hospitalized service members and civilians affected by the war.
Volunteer groups in Ukraine visit hospitals and deliver these packages, bringing practical assistance and a reminder that people care.
