During Ukraine’s most challenging times, where blackouts lasted for 10 to 18 hours daily due to relentless attacks on our energy infrastructure, Hope for Ukraine’s volunteers showed remarkable resilience. While the nation faced darkness, our team brought light through the simple yet profound act of baking bread that equals hope. Using wood-burning stoves, the volunteers baked tirelessly to ensure bread, a symbol of sustenance and hope, reached those who needed it most.
