Exciting news! For the second week in a row, refugee children in Italy have been given the opportunity to momentarily put their hardships aside, embracing the joy and camaraderie that come from playing soccer. This chance to be kids again, to play and laugh, is the result of generous donations from Hope For Ukraine (HFU) supporters all over the world. These donors have not only funded attendance to these top soccer camps but have also given these children the invaluable gift of a carefree childhood experience amidst challenging circumstances.
The most recent week saw the organization of a soccer camp in collaboration with AC Milan, one of Italy’s top football clubs. Here, the refugee children had an incredible chance to learn and play under the tutelage of experienced coaches, many who have witnessed the rise of the sport’s greatest stars. More than learning soccer techniques, it’s about instilling the spirit of teamwork, resilience, and the pursuit of dreams. It is heartwarming to see these young ones savor the beautiful game, creating lasting memories that go beyond the pitch.
