More ways to put your workplace to work.

Matching gifts are just one way your employer can help. If your company doesn't have a matching program — or you want to do more — here are two other options worth exploring.

Payroll giving

Many employers let you designate a recurring charitable contribution directly from your paycheck — before taxes, in many cases. It's a simple, set-it-and-forget-it way to give to Hope For Ukraine consistently throughout the year, without having to think about it each time.

Check with your HR or payroll department to see if your company supports payroll deductions to charitable organizations. You'll need Hope For Ukraine's EIN (81-1401967) to get set up.

Matching gift FAQ.

Is Hope For Ukraine an eligible recipient for matching gifts?
Yes. Hope For Ukraine is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 81-1401967), which means we qualify for the vast majority of corporate matching gift programs. If your employer requires any additional verification, please contact us at s.nagra@hfu.org.
How do I know if my company has a matching gift program?
Use the employer search tool on this page. You can also check with your HR department, your company's intranet, or your employee benefits portal. Programs are sometimes listed under "Corporate Social Responsibility," "Community Giving," or "Employee Giving."
What information will my employer need from me?
Most employers will ask for Hope For Ukraine's legal name, EIN/tax ID number, and a copy of your donation receipt. We provide IRS acknowledgment letters for all donations — reach out if you need a copy. Our mailing address is 101 Eisenhower Parkway, Suite 300, Roseland, NJ 07068.
How long does the matching process take?
It varies by company, but most programs process matches within 30–90 days of a completed submission. Some companies have deadlines — typically requiring you to submit within 90 days to a year of your original gift. Check your company's specific guidelines using the search tool above.
Can I match a recurring monthly gift?
Many companies allow matching on recurring gifts — either per individual payment or as an annual total. Check your company's policy for details. If you need a summary of your recurring giving history for your request, we're happy to provide one.
What if my company doesn't appear in the search tool?
The search tool covers thousands of employers, but it's not exhaustive. If your company doesn't appear, your best next step is to contact your HR department directly and ask about a charitable giving or matching gift program. You can also email us at s.nagra@hfu.org and we'll help you navigate the process.

Double your gift. Double your impact.

Your employer may be able to match your donation to Hope For Ukraine, helping your gift reach more families affected by war.
