Meals for Seniors

In southern Ukraine, 78 seniors recently received food kits through an ongoing humanitarian effort. Many live alone with limited mobility and no reliable access to groceries. Rising food costs and disrupted supply chains have made basic necessities difficult to obtain. In conflict-affected regions, seniors remain among the most vulnerable.

Hope For Ukraine delivers this support through the Hope Begins With A Meal campaign. Teams assemble food kits with staple items such as rice, protein, and pantry goods. Volunteers then transport and deliver these kits directly to homes. This approach ensures that seniors who cannot travel still receive consistent support. Each kit can feed a family of four for up to 7–10 days.

Hope For Ukraine operates with full transparency and accountability. The organization is BBB-accredited and meets all 20 Standards for Charity Accountability. 95% of expenses go directly to programs, while fundraising costs remain below 1%. This ensures that resources are used efficiently to reach those most in need. Learn more at https://www.hfu.org.

The need for food assistance continues as the war enters another year. Consistent delivery efforts help maintain stability for vulnerable populations. The Hope Begins With A Meal campaign focuses on reliable, ongoing support rather than one-time relief. As Meals for Seniors shows, each delivery helps ensure access to essential nutrition in communities facing prolonged hardship.
