Now in its second year, the initiative brings 80 Ukrainian children to a seaside camp in Italy, helping them heal from war through play, friendship, and transformative experiences

Roseland, NJ – July 2025 – Hope for Ukraine (HFU), a non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to supporting communities affected by the ongoing war, is proud to announce the continuation of its “Summer of Hope” campaign. This initiative offers war-impacted Ukrainian children an opportunity to experience healing, connection, and joy through meaningful summer camp programs.

Building on the success of last year’s launch, the 2025 campaign will give 80 children the opportunity to attend camp at Bella Italia Efa Village in Italy. Running from August 1 to August 20, this free experience is designed to create a safe, supportive environment where children can reclaim a sense of normalcy and happiness away from the trauma of war.

“For the second year in a row, we remain committed to giving children the opportunity to make lasting, joyful memories free from the difficulties of war,” said Yuriy Boyechko, Founder and CEO of Hope for Ukraine. “By continuing our Summer of Hope campaign this year, we remain committed to creating hopeful futures for Ukrainian children who have faced unimaginable hardships during such important years of their lives.”

Located along the Italian coast, the camp at Bella Italia Efa Village features an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a water park, beachfront access, and extensive sports facilities, creating the perfect setting for fun, friendship, and emotional recovery.

“Ukrainian children have witnessed unimaginable hardship, and it’s crucial we offer them experiences that support their mental well-being,” said Maria Kulyniak, Camp Director and head of the non-profit City Development in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine. “The Summer of Hope program gives children the chance to heal through play, sports, and meaningful connections with their peers.”

The “Summer of Hope” campaign is a vital part of HFU’s broader mission to uplift and empower the Ukrainian people during the ongoing war and humanitarian crisis caused by Russia’s full-scale invasion.
