This past week at HFU, our efforts have reached new heights in supporting communities across the nation. Over 20 families in the Vinnitsa region received essential food kits, while children in our after-school program were thrilled to receive new creative supplies, fueling their passion for art and creativity. In the Rivne region, our volunteers ensured that emergency food kits were delivered to families in need, demonstrating our commitment to providing immediate relief in times of crisis. Additionally, a significant donation of over 20 tons of pasta from local Ukrainian producers has bolstered our feeding program, enabling us to support an average of 1500 families with emergency food kits each week.
Our initiatives extended beyond basic needs, with our Medical Support project sponsoring a life-changing scoliosis correction surgery for a young lady in Ukraine. This act of compassion highlights our dedication to improving the quality of life for those we serve. Moreover, during our latest aid distribution event, over 200 internally displaced families received not only food kits but also hygiene products and clothing, further showcasing our holistic approach to aid. In Kriviy Rih, 200 food kits and hygiene supplies were distributed to the elderly and internally displaced individuals, ensuring that the most vulnerable populations are cared for.
