Three years after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the war continues to devastate communities. Over 40,000 civilians have been killed or injured, nearly 3.7 million people are displaced inside Ukraine, and 6.9 million have fled the country as refugees. Today, more than 12.7 million Ukrainians require urgent humanitarian assistance. Despite the shifting politics and international negotiations, one reality remains unchanged: families in Ukraine need food, shelter, medical aid, and hope.

Our Mission in the Midst of Crisis

While governments debate strategies and peace talks, Hope For Ukraine is on the ground every day, delivering real help where it matters most. When electricity grids are struck, our Solar Energy Resilience Kits keep families connected and safe. When hunger grows in frontline towns, our Hope Begins With a Meal program ensures fresh bread and hot meals are available. When children face trauma, our After-School Arts & Crafts Program creates safe spaces for healing.

Impact That Transcends Politics

Since 2022, HFU has grown from an emergency relief effort into a nationwide network of support. Together with donors and volunteers, we have:

  • Distributed hundreds of solar kits, with a goal to reach 1,000 families by the end of 2025.

  • Served millions of meals through local kitchens, bakeries, and volunteer centers.

  • Provided mental health support and safe educational spaces for children suffering from war-related trauma.

  • Partnered with local communities to rebuild homes, deliver medical supplies, and give internally displaced families shelter.

Why HFU Matters Now More Than Ever

As the conflict grinds into its fourth year, the world’s attention shifts between peace talks, politics, and international diplomacy. But in Ukraine, the war is not abstract — it is daily life. Every drone strike, every blackout, every destroyed home deepens the humanitarian crisis.

That’s why our work matters. Hope For Ukraine exists to bridge the gap between international promises and local realities. We ensure that aid isn’t just pledged but delivered — in the form of food on the table, light in the home, and hope in the hearts of those enduring unimaginable hardship.

Building a Future of Hope

Though the war has scarred millions of lives, it has not broken the Ukrainian spirit. HFU’s programs show that even in the darkest times, resilience can flourish. Families are learning to rebuild with renewable energy. Children are rediscovering joy through art. Communities are finding strength in bread shared together.

Every act of generosity fuels this movement of hope. With your continued support, Hope For Ukraine will keep standing by families until peace is restored — and long after — to help rebuild lives and communities.

Hope For Ukraine Response

At Hope For Ukraine, we are responding to these urgent challenges through programs designed to bring both immediate relief and long-term stability:

Every act of support helps restore dignity and stability to families caught in the middle of war.
