Four years into the war, Russia hasn’t just targeted soldiers — it has systematically destroyed Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Entire communities near the frontline are living without electricity. No light. No heat. No way to charge a phone or cook a meal. For families already surviving in impossible conditions, losing power isn’t an inconvenience. It’s a crisis on top of a crisis.
Hope For Ukraine is responding with something tangible. Through our Solar Resilience campaign, we’re delivering solar energy kits directly to families in frontline communities — families like Yuliia’s in Kryvyi Rih, who said it best herself: “This gift of energy has given us the hope we needed to face tomorrow.”
Each kit includes a solar-powered generator, a charging solar panel, and an electric cooktop. For $800, a family near the frontline gets a complete system — light, warmth, and the ability to prepare food without depending on a grid that no longer works. It’s not a luxury. For these families, it’s survival.
Our goal for 2026 is to deliver 1,250 of these kits. That number isn’t arbitrary — it represents 1,250 families who won’t have to sit in the dark wondering if tomorrow gets better.
If $800 feels out of reach, a monthly gift of $67 guarantees one kit is delivered before 2027. And if you want to go further, the Hope Circle — our monthly giving community — starts at just $25 a month. Members get monthly impact updates, quarterly video briefings from our team on the ground, and a real connection to the families being helped. It’s not just a donation. It’s an ongoing relationship with the work.
The grid in Ukraine is broken. But your support doesn’t have to wait for it to be fixed.
